The 2023 Des Plaines Holiday Decorating Contest sponsored by the Journal & Topics and the Des Plaines Friends of the Parks.

This is a free contest, open to all Des Plaines residents. Entries accepted through December 8th. To enter, call the Friends at 847-391-5089, email Friends@DesPlainesFriendsOfTheParks.org, or message us on our Facebook page.

Final Entries
Judging will be done by the local boy and girl scout troops and takes place in December. Homes need to be illuminated until at least 9 p.m. each day for judging. Homes will be photographed by the Des Plaines Camera Club and prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers!!

The winners will be announced in the December 20th edition of the Des Plaines Journal
